Moebius is probably best known in the US for his “Airtight Garage” series and his character “Arzach”; in France, he’s perhaps best known for a series about a cowboy in the American West named “Blueberry”.

Oh, and look at this: http://bignanime.files.wordpress.com/2008/08/___miyazaki-moebius.jpg a poster for a special joint exhibit in Paris of Miyazaki and Moebius’ work. There’s a famous portrait of Miyazaki’s Nausicaa by Moebius (see the bottom of this page: http://www.3dvf.com/modules/publish/Interviews_1333_1.html ). I also once came across a collection of drawings of Moebius’ character Arzach by lots of cartoonists, including Miyazaki (thanks to Google images, here we go: http://www.zewebanim.com/images/arzach-miyazakigf.png ).

DO WANT!! there’s so many of these Udon/Capcom artbooks. I wonder how much more art they have lying around This is going to be awesome. I also love Shinkiro’s work and am waiting very patiently for the day a whole book of just Shinkiro graces the store shelves.

This is one of the best Sorayama books I have. It’s hard to decide which book to buy online when you can’t see inside. That’s why i love your posts! This definitely speed up the decision process for me. Of the few inside glimpses i do see there are often a lot of the books with the same content, so it’s always a gamble but this book certainly had a variety of new work i hadn’t seen before and that foil cover! Bliss. n_n
